Participate on the first photo contest “Di ¡Hola Riviera Maya! in which, besides making everybody fall in love with this corner of paradise, you could win a Sony Handycam DCR-SX40 video camera, so next time you visit us you won’t miss any details from your trip.

It’s very easy to participate:

If you’re on vacations at the Riviera Maya, take a picture of your favorite place. If you visited us on the past, choose the picture you liked best.

Send us that picture to contest@holarivieramaya.com with a short description of the time and place it was taken, and your contact information (see the rules below).

Once we get your picture, we’ll add it to the contest album on ¡Hola Riviera Maya!’s Facebook page.

Choose your picture carefully: the winner will be chosen based on the amount of “likes” and comments its picture gets on our Facebook page. Make sure to invite your friends and family to become fans so they can support you.

The rules

The prize: a Sony Handycam DCR-SX40

1.- You must be a fan of ¡Hola Riviera Maya!’s Facebook page. to participate. Professional photographers cannot participate.
2.- There’s only one category and one winner.
3.- Only one picture per participant will be posted.
4.- Pictures submitted must not have been published on any proffessional media.
5.- Pictures submitted must not have been enhanced or modified using Photoshop or any similar software.
6.- Pictures must have been taken on the Riviera Maya.
7.- You must include your name, phone number (with country and area code), postal address and a link to your Facebook profile.
9.- All submissions must comply with the above rules.
7.-By sending her or his picture, the author transfers all patrimonial rights or the picture to the Riviera Maya Tourism Board.
8.- You can send your pictures from November 10th, 2009 and until January 15th, 2010.
10.- The winner will be chosen by the Riviera Maya Tourism Board.
11.- The name of the winner will be published on January 22th, 2010 on the Hola Riviera Maya Facebook page and will be notified by e-mail.
12.- The prize -a Sony Handicam DCR-SX40- will be sent to the winner’s domicile.
