Winner picture

“The best tool for promotion are those tourists who travel to the destination and share their experiences through social networks”, said Mr. Javier Aranda Pedrero, Director of the  Director of  the Riviera Maya Tourism Board (RMTB), who presided the awards ceremony for the first photo contest “Di Hola Riviera Maya!” at Monterrey, Mexico.

The contest took place at the Hola Riviera Maya Facebook page, with over 5,000 fans. 18 pictures submitted by fans were selected as finalists by the community.

The winner was David Ernesto Lozano, 19 , from Monterrey. He visited the Riviera Maya last summer. His picture showcases the calmness, warmth and beauty of the beaches, and was the most voted by the fans of our Facebook page. David got a video camera and a gift certificate to one of the best destination’s hotels: Hacienda Tres Rios.

Javier Aranda invited those present to visit all the the lovely places Riviera Maya offers and to share experiences and tips on the popular social networks.
